Success For One Performance Racing In Montreal

Success and a rough night for OPR for Round 2 of the v8sonline Porsche Supercup.

After more testing and preparation it was the hard work from Michael Healey that would pay off, Taking Pole Position, holding onto the top spot for race 1 and coming from 15th to 5th in the top 15 reverse grid race. Although not enough to secure the round win from Trick Simsports Fawzan El-Nabi, it will be a solid result for him to continue his championship defence.

It was the other Kiwi on the team, Jimmy Ball who also put it a lot of hard work during the week and showed consistency is key, coming home 9th in race 1 and 5th in race 2, giving him a result to be proud of finishing 6th for the round.

Once again Cody Burcher would be the teams hidden gem, only just making qualifying and starting out 22nd, he would go on to finish 8th and 10th giving him a top 10 finish for the round.

(All results preliminary)

For the rest of the team would be a mixed bag of results, with the nature of the track along with the hectic sprint races, pedal failures, network issues and costly driver errors. Leaving a lot to be learnt and motivation to push harder and improve for the next round.

Thanks again to the team behind GT Leagues Australia for all their hard work, the broadcast team at v8sonline and our supporters:
