After what was a big week running at Interlagos, it started with the Geodesic Racing Sprint Series Australia where Zac put the AE Audi on pole position. It turned out to be a race of what might have been however, with both Beau and Zachary drivers caught out in what was a carnage filled opening round with both failing to finish. However optimism is running high as the pace was there with both drivers, and both in for a shot to win the race at various stages.
The team then went on to take that promise and convert it into the Official Series races of the week, regularly being on top or close to the top of the results sheets, further cementing the early pace we have carried on from the World Championship round.
It’s a new week, and a World Championship week at that. Simon raced in the International GT3 Championship – IRacing on the weekend as his initial foray on the circuit, and despite using a setup derived from Road Atlanta, the pace was OK, albeit a bit unstable as Blanchimont would show. Testing is now kicking in ahead of an important 6 Hours of Spa.
